Hominick runs like a pansy-girl

Hominick has patented the "Run like a pansy-girl" technique and pulled out a win with it. Reminiscent of running from a schoolyard bully, IMO. This technique is obviously endorsed by UFC judges and may very well become THE best way to avoid grappling.

Good fight otherwise.

nonetheless, Homminick showed some of the most crisp and explosive combinations and clearly won. SHouldnt take anything away from his win.

Oh, and Tito patented the run technique.

"Hominick runs like a pansy-girl"

Said the dude typing on his computer....

jorge needs to work on his takedowns.

lol at Rogan hyping his leg kicks. like hominick can;t eat those up with his muay tai training.

this comming from a guy named cookie monster

"lol at Rogan hyping his leg kicks. like hominick can;t eat those up with his muay tai training."

thats exactly what I was thinking. Im pretty sure hominick has been kicked harder

Stomps in and beats the hell outa everyone talking bad about Mark Hominick

Picks through unconscience people's pockets for change and gum

Slams door to thread on way out

"thats exactly what I was thinking. Im pretty sure hominick has been kicked harder"-I agree. Plus that last 15 seconds we seen Mark come out of shell and unleash what we could have seen throughout the whole fight. Mark did what his corner told him to do and you can't beat him up over that. He won fair and square.

I think that Hominik deserved the win based on his striking and takedown defense. Was it strange to see a fighter running away ...yes however it was a good stratgey to avoid the clinch and takedowns. I look forward to seeing him in the future the guy has great striking ability.

"He won fair and square."

Excuse you - fairly squarely.

Props to Jorge for a great fight.

"Yes but he does use his real name. Sadly even if I disagree with the comment you have to somewhat respect someone who (unlike the vast majority of UG posters) uses his actual name"

Who are you talking about? Me ?

I am an unabashed Gurgel fan, but I gotta hand it to Hominick. His foot work was nothing short of awesome. He knew when to plant his feet and throw and when to move. Nothing wrong with working a good game plan.

I loved the fight! Thought we all got treated to some very skillful striking, from both guys! Jorge's right hook counters and leg kicks were great.

IMO the loss doesn't hurt Jorge at all, and Hominick's stock keeps rising. Credit Silva with some excellent matchmaking on this fight!

TTT for Homminick vs. Guilliard or Fisher. Jorge vs. Edwards or Guilliard.

Great post.

A Matt Serra quote came to mind as I watched this fight. "I'd rather lose the way I lost than win the way he won"

"Also the time he really ran away was after a slip."

Bingo. He slipped twice and as bad as it may have appeared, he did what he had to do to regain his composure.

he hits like a pro kickboxer

Well everyone knows Hominick's nickname...."Flight or fight"

Honinick checked pretty much every one of those leg kicks. He also stuffed every one of the take down attempts. On top of that he showed fast hands and he leg swept Jorge multiple times.

Hominick won that fight.

He checked less than half of the kicks. But props on still being able to run very quickly after so many landed.

Could of went either way imo. Jorge was impressive, playing Hominic's game and almost pulled it out. Whats that say about Jorge if Hominic is considered a world class kick boxer?
