This is a new movement i have been using for the last couple of weeks. Athletes seem to love it.
Perform a standard horizontal pullup in a smith machine or power rack. Attach the band to the outside of the rack support as it will lay horizontally. The band will be at approximately chest level when you lay on the ground. Next perform the pullup as explosively as possible. Emphasize velocity of movement.

Does the band assist or resist? I've done them both ways.. its definitely cool. Jumpstretch bands are badass.
