when i book hotel rooms i try to get the second floor. i figure if theres a fire or other reason the doors inaccessible i can open / throw a chair through the window and take the jump with a pair of broken ankles
Its pretty tall, the one news report mentioned calls for help coming from floors 14 and 15…
There’s some shocking and crazy videos out there of this fire. Aside from the people straight up jumping off roofs/balconies, others were tying sheets together and dangling out the windows.
