I agree.  Wand deserves an easier opponent after fighting against Crocop, Henderson, Chuck, and Jardine.  He also needs another showcase knockout to get the American fans excited for Rampage / Silva.

Much better than the rumoured Rashad Evans fight I heard about. If the UFC wants to build up Silva for thier audience, they should give him fights that will highlight his skills.

 Disagree.  Fighters don't need a ridiculously difficult fight every time out, it shortens their shelf-life.  Now is the perfect time for a showcase fight for Wand to build hype for a fight with Rampage, which has huge potential.

How is now the perfect time for a showcase fight? The Jardine fight lasted all of 30 seconds and he took zero damage. That was his showcase fight!! Wand is hot now, and they should strike while the iron is hot. Machida should get the Rampage/Forrest winner and Wand should fight someone (maybe a Chuck rematch, or Sokoudjou, or Rampage if he loses to Forrest) for the shot after that.

amazing how things have changed in the past year....everyone is afraid of Wandy getting beat by rashad.....last year everyone would have hated on UFC for feeding Wand a can...

I would rather see Wand just destroy Rashad and put him out of contention...

I think that houston has the power to knock anyone out but Silva would prob make quick work if he comes in like he did his last fight.

let him fight Rashad if he cant beat rashad he doesn't deserve to be in title contention. could it be boring maybe but hell wandy's t/d defense is alot better than people give him credit he did ok versus arona the 2nd time and he improved im sure training extreme couture.

rashad might just trade with him too as his striking isn' bad at all so who knows.
