That was a nice slam but it got him nowhere but taken down to his back right after and beaten into oblivion.

He was about to own Thiago on the feet, and he needed to do everything in his power to keep the fight there, not set Thiago down on the mat at his feet so he could get taken down.

I mean if you can't stop the throw from the clinch you probably won't get the better of teh striking from there. Houston just didn't fight smart and he paid.

Now James Irvin is about to pay, they might be calling him the Sandman now, but after this fight it will be eternal Sandman because he might go to sleep forever.

Irvin's in there because otherwise HA is done as an attraction. He's made to order. You have to do that when you can't work.

A choke slam is so great in an mma match that it is better to BE choke slammed than win.
