How confident is Conor now?

One guy likely has absolutely no nerves going into the fight, and the other is worried that moving the wrong way is going to pierce a lung or cause horrendous pain...the Vegas odds are going to be insanely stacked for Conor. Can we all agree that fighters need to stop training like jackasses a couple weeks out from the fight?

Conor's kicks! Lol Phone Post 3.0

Have fought with bruised ribs before and can say that with all of the adrenaline and excitement of a fight I didn't think about it at all during the fight. It isn't very very uncomfortable when you're trying to relax though. Phone Post 3.0

Jackasses? I'm sure you know what it takes to be prepared for a 25 minute fight ya? Phone Post 3.0

I guess you've never grappled with a bruised rib before.

I've had a bruised ribs and cartilage and I couldn't do anything not even train. It basically feels like you are being stabbed anytime you move. Sneezing was horrible.

When your rib is hurt you can't pull in the clinch you can't explode for takedowns, kicking is out if the question and you can't twist for punches.

Rib injuries is prob one of the worst things you could have going into a fight and they take forever to heal... At least 4-6 weeks minimum. Phone Post 3.0

I once dropped a dumbbell on my rib and cracked it/bruised another...and for the next few weeks in work I cudnt lift a ream of A4 paper to the printer. It was such a sharp pain I actually thought my rib had splintered and bone was sticking into my lungs.....but it hadn't. Worst part was that hospital cudnt do anything about it at all except recommend pain killers. Phone Post 3.0

Imagine a bucket, that's full to the very very top with water, that has an endless stream of water pouring into it and make it over flow. Now take a cup of water and pour it into the already maxed out, over flowing, filled to the top bucket of water. That's what conor's confidence did with this incident. Phone Post 3.0

yes....and did the way Aldo trained make him better or less prepared than he was even before he began fight prep? Would it have better to be slightly less sharp in full out sparring but not have a fractured or bruised rib? That's what we call a training FAIL.
