He commented on it later. He said it wasn't that bad.

His shoulders and upper back took most of the force but it's still amazing. One of the most incredible moments in MMA history.

Kevin Randleman was such a beast. Crazy underrated.

I remember watching that live with a buddy who has been doing judo since he was a kid. As soon as it happened, he looked at me and said "perfectly timed break fall. He's fine."

I'll never forget how matter of fact he was about it. Phone Post 3.0

I've seen this fight a thousand times and I could still watch that slam all day Phone Post 3.0

Randleman as a fighter seemed to only lack in the mental department.

Looks like those knees could have put most people out.

Randleman could hang with any human on the planet. Between this and his left hook on CroCop, I don't know what was more impressive. Phone Post 3.0

Exactly, and due to mental issues.

He stuck with a camp where it was clear they weren't training in a complete and optimal way. Imagine what Kevin could have done training in a more complete gym?

Ask Alan Goes.

Imo knees to the ground could/should change present day MMA to the better, without worrying too many of the mainstreamers and alike (like headbutts, soccer kicks and whatnot).
