How did Paul "Semtex" Daley look out there?

Back to his best or has he lost a step?

How does he fare against Rory & MVP?

Great to see Paul get the win. When he gets the win you can usually be sure of it being brutal.

He'd smoke MVP like a blunt. Rory would take his lunch money.

Same as usual. Scary striking but Ward took him down with ease even when rocked. He can KO Rory but Rory could probably dominate him if he plays it smart.

Brennan wobbled him pretty good. But his spiinning back elbow on break was a lucky land. Those rarely land. Wobbled brennan and the flying knee was timed beautifully. He looked sharp. They both did. That fight was ending in 1st round either way. Two killers

Rory will fucking destroy Paul Daley.

Are you guys insane?

Back to his very best. Probably better than he has ever looked. He got taken down but defended and was able to stand up repeatedly. That one underhook to arm-drag to spinning elbow is not only high level it needs to be driled like a bitch before you can throw it in a fight let alone connect - and its that which I believe rocked Ward and led to him being open for that gorgeous flying knee. Daley for me had the better of every exchange, covering up nicely and either getting off first and landing or defending in the melee and landng on the way out. Superior performance by Semtex.

He is a tough fight for all the fighters in the division. Rory included.

If as I hope Daley is the underdog I'll put money on him to win against Rory. I think Douglas poses the tougher test to be honest. Rory will be in danger of being drawn into a fist fight, even Lawler could be dropped by Daley. This performance makes those fights appear competative (although its most likely Rory would control the fight and win a decision then go on a road trip and murder some hitchhikers).

I didn't see the fight you saw.

1, Look at the setup for the "lucky land". First its to recover from having your back almost taken. He has pulled the arm up and over whilst tucking his shoulder in to get an overhook (when fighting for double underhooks are the traditional defence). Second he r uses his head and shoulder to defend his left side whilst swapping his grip to enable him to spin with the elbow. That is not easy. Look at how he swaps control of the arm from his right arm to his left to release his right arm. Its methodical. Try it on a bag yourself. Think about using your hands to fight for the arm and swap the grip then throw the elbow.

Its easy to throw a spinning elbow - hell Ralek was throwing them off the end of his combos all night (which is a terrible idea if you are not actually looking for the opening). Daley uses his left "under/over" (Not over under) to drag Ward into positon for the right elbow. That shit is masterful. Also I think it should be noted that Daley has HUGE hands and a very strong grip. People forget this gives him a big advantage at defending GnP and arm control in general.

2. Brennen never wobbled Daley. I think the idea maybe clouded your experience. Same way I can't assume the first left hook that Daley grazed Ward with wobbled him - it could have he did stumble. But I'll let that go. In every exchange you need to see the details. Daley is covering up perfectly. His hands are high and Brennen is hitting glove.

Ward fought a good fight - he is a great fighter with huge potential and a great attitude. I hope he doesn't let this lose hold him back.

This.
Ward was shooting after taking hard shots.
Daley landed the elbow hard then saw the knee opening at the moment Ward reacted and changed levels.
Shit was dope.
He'll startch MVP but Rory will still fuck him up.

Daley looked like a destroyer against Ward. A fight between Lima and Daley is must see TV. I'd also love to see him KO the Can Crusher, as I don't believe in the great MVP myth.

I'm in agreement with most of you concerning Rory. The Red King keeps him at bay with the jab long enough to find a take down, and then, Daley gets smashed.

Daley would kill MVP

lose to Rory

The keyboard MMA expert has spoken. It was a lucky elbow. This guy knows his fighting

Looked like a douche bag nothing different here.

Lima has already decisioned Daley in Bellator if I'm not mistaken. It wasn't too long ago if memory serves.

I'd have him over MVP, i don't see him beating Rory though.

Daley is always damn exciting dude to watch. Epic knee
