After watching UFC 140, I wondered how well Canadians do when fighting in Canada.

 I'll tell you what last Saturday does show, it shows that mma is here in Ontario and the fans love it. It also shows that there is money and economic spin offs for having it here.

 The purpose of the thread is to discuss the relationship between the performance of Canadian athletes and events held inside Canada.

It is not about legalization in Ontario-which is now  a year old-  nor about economics.
