I have a new single comp HCK? Are there any tips to make it softer besides 50 washes? Thanks.
Downy fabric softner will help a little.
not possible. every time you wash it, it gets harder. truth.

Just wear it alot. I've been told that is the only way. I know the gi can stand up by itself sometimes.
Seeing as HCK gis are made of kevlar, I'd go with bullets.
When the HCK does break in, it will the most comfortable gi you will ever own.
There is no way.
I have a 5 year old blue competition double and wear it weekly.
It is the most indestructable gi I've ever seen.
The only downside is that it still takes the skin off my back when I play guard.
It took a while to break mine in.
Just use alot of softtner in the washer and dryer.
