judging by the way Zingano is a slow starter.... (Nunes fight I believe)... fella's let me know if I am wrong but I remember her getting schooled in that first round close to losing and some how some way she pulled through only to beat Nunes in the second round, right?
Here is my prediction, If Cat comes out like she did in the nunes fight with Rousey, she will get thrown and arm barred in the first round and it will be over. If she comes out establishes the jab keeps Rousey at distance she could have a better chance, but I honestly believe she wont win, Rousey is way to dominant right now for anyone to touch her.
sooner or later ronda will get hurt with a punch. she doesnt fear being hit currently, and i think thats cuz shes never been really rocked. she throws hard enough but is open when doing so...
I know a bunch of us are saying cat is a slow starter but that might be a bit misleading. Could say her first fight was first fight in the ufc jitters. Then she came off a long lay over so there might have some ring rust. I'm probably wrong but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. The other thing I see is she doesn't seem to be intimidated at all by Rhonda and I think that's huge considering Rhonda wins the psychological phase of the game long before the fight starts.
I think Cat has to match Rhonda's balls to the wall intensity from the opening bell. If she does in fact start slow as she did in her last fight I see Rhonda finding a way to finish her quickly.
Mcmann I believe was not intimidated simply from the amount of competing she had done in her life prior however that in itself didn't do much for her.
On a side note isn't it crazy that the only champion with a 100% finishing ratio in title fights is Rhonda. hell she is 100% her entire career
