All joking aside a game plan to beat GSP is very difficult.
GSP took more strikes in his last 3 fights than all other fights combined. Let's take a look:
Nick Diaz - GSP dominated Diaz for all 5 rounds. GSP used his wrestling to keep the fight standing. Diaz did connect with some good combos but only a handful. Not much to take away from this on how to beat GSP.
Carlos Condit - The Natural Born Killer had much more success than Diaz actually dropping GSP for one of only a few times in his career. Condit's use of kicks really punished GSP causing him to take a ton of punishment. That being said GSP still won every round (including the round he got dropped in). Lesson here is kicks can be effective against Georges.
Big Rig - GSP's worst performance (outside of his Serra loss). Hendricks didn't use kicks just punches but he stayed in GSP's kitchen all night pressuring him. Rig used his wrestling to keep it standing and landed shot after shot to GSP's face. Hendricks' stamina was amazing that night actually out working the champ. As a long time GSP nutthugger I even scored the fight for Hendricks.
Now in regard to Bisbing he doesn't have kicks like Condit or the wrestling pedigree of Big Rig. But the Count does have stamina for days. And with this being Georges 1st fight at MW his stamina will be tested. Bisbing will have to use footwork to keep in standing cause Bisbing can't win this fight off his back. Also the Count has to be careful of GSP's punishing jab (2nd Kos fight) Bisbing's eye problems have been well documented so u have to know GSP's will be trying to swell Bisbing's eyes shut.
