How far do you drive to train??

And how far WOULD you drive to train.

Currently I am doing 10 miles exactly.

My truck gets 15mpg, thats basically $4 in gas each time I train. Training 4x week= $16 week in gas on top of membership.

Just started thinking about that. Not that it matters but just curious what it's like for you guys.

Get a motorcycle imo.

I drive like 3 miles or so. It used to be closer to ten through the city but my gym moved and it moved closer which was awesome.

That's the problem I having with training. There are 2 places I would like to train but they both are a 30 minute drive for me without traffic. Which results in about $12 a day to get to and from training. Ideally I would like to be able to train 4 to 5 days a week but this would result in $48-$60 a week to get to and from training. It would cost me more to drive back and forth than it would for the unlimited membership. Phone Post

35 Miles, about 45 minutes door to door in a nice day.

yup

2 miles. And there are two other Dojos within 7 miles in either direction. Good times :-) Phone Post

From home about 15 miles, but it's on my way home from work anyway; so no big deal...

Gyms around every corner, I could literally walk/ride my bike to Tinguinhas school from home though... Phone Post

I was driving close to 60 miles round trip. Last year a gym opened up about 1 mile from my house. I finally had to make the switch and I'm glad I did. I can train twice as often now.

My gym is 10 minutes away, so it's not bad at all.

My instructor is in San Diego, CA (I'm in Connecticut), so I often travel quite a bit to see him.  Last weekend I drove to Erie, PA to train with him for a weekend.  That was 500 miles each way.  :)

10 miles

i just recently started calculating all my mileage to the gym. 3 times a week, 21 miles there and back. it starts adding up.

this and I pass maybe 3 or 4 other gyms that I could train at if i wanted to

there is nothing that would make me leave the gym i'm at now and go somewhere else

I guess I wouldn't mind the 10 miles but our classes are only 1hr! Kinda sucks.

Roughly 90 miles round trip 3x a week. Been doing it for over 6 years.

Roughly 17 miles each way, 3-6 times a week. Car does about 32mpg. Sadly a litre of petrol over here at the moment is about £1.38!!! I put £10 in it (about $17??) to get me there, back and to work and back the next day. Phone Post

60 miles round trip 3 to 5 days a week. Worth it. Heading out the door now Phone Post

74 Miles round trip. 3-4x a week when i was unmarried, younger and gas was dirt cheap. Now i try to make it 2x a week 3 tops. And don't get me started on the cost in gasoline.

13 years of this... soo soo tired

5 minute walk from both work and home.  Allows me to make it 5 or 6 days a week.  When I had to drive it was 15 or 20 minutes and the most a week would be 3.  I give huge respect to the guys with long drives, and know I probably wouldn't be able to maintain the schedule if things weren't so close.

The academy is 6mi away from my home and 6-15min drive depending on traffic on the freeway. Very happy about that, but I live in socal where there are schools just minutes away from all directions.

How many times do you get to roll in an hour class?
