How involved was Chuck in his book

I'm pretty sure that Chuck's read his book...

ya man what was up with the irish flag ???? chucks not that stupid. and i was expecting alot more stories about his life, girls , partying , that stuff. but it was basically a decription to all his fights. not worth readingi wishh i could give back the time i spent on th it

What little I've read seems good but I have heard rumors it's basically a writers take on Liddell's life and making a good book

Oh because you have the "inside scoop" on all the juicy rumors and stuff right?  LMFAO!  You read a thread earlier today that says Kim Couture said "Chuck was HARDLY involved in writing his book", and now all of a sudden you've "heard rumors".

YOU + DOUCHE = FAIL

One thing that was in the book that was bs and not written by Chuck was regarding the Randy/Vitor fight. The book said that Vitor won via TKO from a cut over Randy's eye.

The book is ok.

"and i was expecting alot more stories about his life, girls , partying , that stuff. but it was basically a decription to all his fights. not worth readingi wishh i could give back the time i spent on th it"

This is kind of my point bc I have no interest in reading about chack partying, or a narrative of fights that I've seen. Maybe if it was a dvd commentary or something, but in book form, it sounds very boring. At the same time "getting drunk and banging broads" stories do nothing for me either. I dont live vicariously through fighters.

I'll pass and wait on Mckorkles version.

Damn, TOWE came in with the bitch smack!  Or, in UG fashion he KD'd the correct.

I believe her.

For some strange reason I don't think Chuck is that much of a writer :)

Unless U can bang broads while ur writing.

So fuckin' what. It's still a book about his life he probably dictated to some cat who got paid to type it all out. Chuck still "wrote" it, in the sense that it's his words & him telling the story of his life.

Chuck has TWO degrees from California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo...  Pretty sure writing a book wasn't that hard for him.  Maybe finding time to do it yes, but a double Bachelor's is something to be proud of and takes hard work to get from a school like Cal Poly.

Hate on Haters!!!

"He was involved enough to write that he knocked out Yoko's husband twice."

pure greatness right there!

BROOKS!!!

TOWE you fucking douche you are incorrect. It was mentioned on a thread on Bas's forum and alluded to on HDnets fights, what a tool you are.

"One thing that was in the book that was bs and not written by Chuck was regarding the Randy/Vitor fight. The book said that Vitor won via TKO from a cut over Randy's eye."

you do realize that Vitor did beat randy by cutting him early in there 2nd fight... you may be thinking of the fight directly after where randy owned Vitor or their first bout when Randy ended Vitor's undefeated streak... however that part of the book wasn't BS... not sure if he wrote it though that is up for debate.

I think they are all Chucks stories. I liked it and I think most fight fans will like it. Its good in that it tells you Chucks perception of alot of fights / situations / and training.

I am interested in knowing Chucks perception because I respect his toughness, discipline, and grounded nature. I like getting a picture of what goes on in his head, cause I always wondered what made a guy like Chuck click and wondered how he was able to make himself the person he was.

I've read the first 3 chapters of it so far and it's pretty good regardless of who it's written by. But by the way it sounds it sounds to me like he had quite a bit of involvement in it.
