Post thoughts
In an octagon in Milwaukee.
Bendo in a vulgar display of power.
Round 1
pettis will show his stand up is superior
Ben will take him down late in the round.
Round 2
Ben will shoot early but Pettis will defend and keep it standing.
Pettis will land leg and body shots.
Round 3
Henderson is coming out fast and attacking.
Pettis is countering and it is turning into a brawl.
Pettis tries something crazy and hurts Ben but doesn't put him out and Pettis goes in for the kill.
Pettis by tko
Pettis by tko in round....we'll call it round 4.
As much as I want Pettis to win I see Henderson winning a decision
Pettis wins this. We might see a tko but its more likely that it will go to decision because of how tough Ben is.
Let me just open this fortune cookie first .......... Aldo?
I think Pettis is in his prime right now. His kicks are so overpowered. At LW that kid is unstoppable.
Pettis wins via kicks within the first 3 rounds.
Only way he loses is if he breaks his foot or anything hindering his kicks.
pettis via some flying spinning shit. then proceeds to thank god for the victory.
Bendo via UD 49-46
He's had much more time to improve since joining the UFC and fought much harder competition than Pettis.
Mix6APlix - Bendo takes Pettis down early. Pettis works his active guard and locks in a triangle. Bendo struggles to escape, and realized that resistance is futile. Then with his superior strength he lifts Pettis towards the sky and powerbombs Pettis into a coma. Pettis makes a full recovery in the 6 months thereafter, and never does a dickbag move to steal someone's well earned title shot so he can have the unfair advantage of fighting in his hometown again. Then I change Augustus Ceaser's screen name to something awful and LOL for 30 days straight.
That's pretty ironic, you questioning the class of another person, when you wish for them to wind up in a coma.
Let's see, having an opportunity to make money and get beat up be delayed a few months, or end up in a 6-month coma: which would you prefer happen?
They both earned the title shot. Actually, Pettis is ranked higher than Grant. So in a way he earned it more. He wouldn't have had to move down to fight for another title had he gotten the same quick turnaround as Grant following his last win. Pettis projected to have to wait 8 months, Grant 3. To wit, it was hardly a big deal if Grant's title shot was delayed. He still would have likely had a quicker turnaround than Pettis. And mind you, Pettis wouldn't have moved back up again had the UFC not forced Pettis out of the Aldo fight. He still wanted it.
You're being overly dramatic, a follower, and you have zero perspective to wish Pettis into a coma for what he did which was perfectly understandable if you put yourself in his shoes.
After dancing around through round 1, at the start of round 2 Pettis goes for the "Showtime Kick 2.0beta", but this time Benson actually dodges, since he's been expecting Pettis to try it again for 2 years. Pettis is in disbelief it didn't work, Benson takes him down, and pounds him into submission. 2nd round tko for Benson.
Bendo by blind judges
Henderson wins by decision, Dana announces an immediate rematch at the post-fight press conference.
