trying to figure out how many calories does the body burn by itself a day? I think I saw something that said something about lean mass burns so many calories, but I can't remember what it was.
A VERY rough guide is about 2500 calories per day for an adult.
If you have trained for a while and are in decent shape I'd say it is more at rest. But to be exact you can't really say without very specific information.
Take your weight and divide by 2.2. This will give you your weight in KG.
if you are 18-30 male, then the formula would be
(Your weight x 15.3) + 679 That is to calculate you Basal Metabolism.
Or a "simple way" is take you weight in KG x 1 kcal x 24 hr
