How the TOP 10 should work

I think the top guys should have to fight at least one fight outside the top 10 a year to keep their spots.

This allows the deck to be shuffled so to speak and gives opportunity to up and coming fighters. It just seems like it takes forever for fighters to break into the upper echelon because the top guys are always fighting the other top guys and lower ranked guys are stuck fighting each other leaving no room for advancement.

Imagine a fight card where it’s the top 20 of the division all fighting each other. You seed the top 10 against ranks 11-20 and see what happens. It could have very little impact on the division or just like that, in one night, we could have a brand new top 10.

So many what if’s but I guy can dream right

The reason guys don't get jumps in competition is because they aren't putting you in vs #7 if you struggled with #30

Lights Out Lurker - No thank you. I don't like to see contenders vs nobodies "just because". That's how we got this stupid main event of Cowboy bs Till.
Cerrones on a two fight losing skid and all the top contenders are either booked or have already beaten him.

Nothing wrong with him getting a much needed win over a tough upcoming fighter.
