How to go about getting Sponsors?

I've been fighting MMA for about three years now. I'm currently looking for sponsors for a couple of upcoming fights, and don't really know how to get the ball rolling. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Talk to local businesses. Try writing letters, if I were fighting I would try to hook up with EAS, the supplement company. They seem like a good company that would be down with this sort of thing.

How NOT to get sponsors: badgering them. lieing to them. bringing along baggage. Just be yourself. Good luck.
