My nephews have gotten into mma. They are actually pretty knowledgeable for new fans who don’t train.
I figured old UFCs always play on espn+ so how should I introduce them to pride? What would your first event you would sit down and watch with them?
San Francisco has an annual children introduction event, maybe consider a road trip

I’d start with the 2003 middleweight Grand Prix.

The Bushido events were usually pretty fun. Also, Final Conflict 2003 has a good mix of subs/KO’s and some big names:

Surly with YouTube they must have seen some Pride on the YouTube.
Does Ur sister or brother or did they allow them to watch UFC growing up?
Start them up with Kerr and Igor fights then work your way up to the big boys after
Kids these days have extremely short attention spans, and usually can’t watch a 10-20 min vid or fight without looking at their phones.
Maybe show them some awesome highlight vids to kick things off
Show only the matches where Takada wins.

you want them being familiar with the early ufcs as well, the gracies, coleman, frye, belfort, etc, so they know the best prize fighters in the world fought in PRIDE for the biggest prizes.
Yeah my sister never cared about violence in sports. I’m sure they have seen some but just thought it be cool to sit and watch a whole event and let them see what pride was.

My idea was to sit at watch a whole event get some good pizza and hang out then let them find more stuff on YouTube.
If they already know UFC, MWGP 03 is easy money.
A little fill in on the UFC vs Pride history was usually all it took to get people a bit invested and the fights won’t disappoint.
