Very often guys come to the gym asking to be introduced in an MMA course, even if they have no previous experience in combat sports.
I believe and it is commonly accepted the concept that you have to work on different disciplines or, at least, to have a strong background in one of them.
How would you deal with these kind of guys when they approach your gym, considering that if you address them in a bjj/wrestling/striking class they will quit because it is no what they are looking for?
Thanks for your feedback
In Italy MMA is still something not common at all. Many People still don't know MMA are a complex of a few disciplines.
If somene is the type of person who doesnt understand(even after it is explained to them)that MMA needs to be instructed in facets, than they are never going to stick around or be any good anyway.
If they're looking for MMA and don't realise it's a mixture of arts bjj, wrestling, and striking then take their money. They know not what they seek.
*Edit for simultaneity. What is it you teach in Italy Dino?
