How to jump rope better?

I can jummp rope 15 min plus no problem alternating between different techniques, once you get really good you have to start sprinting otherwise it becomes too easy.

I haven't figured out the thing when you make two revolutions before jumping again, it's tricky and with a speed rope it stings real bad if it connects with your bare toes.

"If you're having difficulty, it may be that you're using a rope that is too
short/long for you."

True indeed. I believe the general rule of thumb is (standing straight
up) you step one foot on the middle of the rope and pull the handles
straight up and they should reach your armpit. Any rope worth a damn
is adjustable, but as a last resort you can tie knots (near the handles)
to shorten the rope.

As with anything form is paramount too. I'll see people jumping
swinging their arms all over and think WTF. Elbows should stay in
facing outwards at roughly 90 degree angles. The rope turns using
one's
forearms but mainly the wrists. The workout really works the
shoulders, wrists, legs
and of course footwork... that's why it's a staple for boxers

Chang, if you have bad joint, you really should be jumping on a mat.
