How to make WMMA interesting.

cawkgobbler -

Did anyone watch the fight I posted? For real it's a first round ko, and very fun to watch.

I tried. Its a dumpy chick trying to hug a tall chick. Couldnt finish it.

Cut the women that are 3-0 all via decisions when they get their first loss.

Keep the gals that are 1-3 but all fights were finished.

Give the title fights to the gals that are 3-2 with 2 finishes instead of to the women 5-0 with all decision wins.

But the ufc doesn’t.

It rewards fighting safe instead.

The ufc has given title shots to woman without a single finish.

So u can’t blame the fighters at all.

If a woman’s up 2 rnds she’s risking the winners purse & her ranking if she looks to finish & it costs her.

Even the ufc pay structure favors fighting safe.

If rather than double the $ to win a fight… if instead fighters got base pay but 3x that pay if they finished then fighters in charge of the fight would be taking chances in the final minutes. And it wouldn’t cost the Ufc anymore $ than now.

Dana can say all he wants that they want action fighters but money talks louder than words
