How to play old PC games on a Mac?

Hey guys, I want to go back and play some classic PC RPGs for the first time. Here's my list so far:

Baldur's Gate 1&2
Planescape Torment
Fallout 1&2
Icewind Dale 1&2

I know these are all available on Good Old Games, but I have a Mac instead of a PC. So what is the best way to get this going? I was thinking of acquiring a copy of Windows and using Boot Camp, but I don't have any experience with that and don't really know how/if it works.

Thanks for any tips! And if you have any suggestions to add to the list, feel free to chime in as well!

Parallels is a great software for installing windows on a partition or as a virtual box on your mac. The only catch is you need to have an official copy of windows. If you're willing to pay for it, want to do everything legit and not have to worry about anything this is the way to go.

I downloaded Virtual Box and it's a neat piece of software, but even Windows XP is like $100. For a 10+ year old OS!

I played around with Wine yesterday, based on this article: http://www.cultofmac.com/185565/how-to-run-almost-any-windows-game-on-your-mac-without-boot-camp-or-parallels-feature/

But I couldn't get it to work.
