In today's MW Division?
No fighter from another era has any chance against todays fighters

Frank was very well rounded, I think he'd do well.

Frank was the prototype FOR TODAY'S fighters ;-)
I think he'd be a ww not a mw.
He would be a lw beast.
Frank's takedown defense is horrible and is stand up is ok. If he was winning standup exchanges he would just get taken down and LnP or GnP.
He would get creamed by the top 10 welterweights. Never mind the middleweights.
would you be stunned if he did very well against all but 90% of them?
To think that he wouldn't be successful is crazy. The guy beat up a prime Tito. And don't judge him by his strikeforce performances because he was a shell of his early 20s self. One of the first to put it all together. Plus he prob would have been a WW.
Very talented guy, but would be a fringe top 10 fighter at best. However, young Frank with a couple of years in good modern camps would be whole different story.
When you read about just how crappy his early training was, you realize what an amazing talent he was. He is one of those "Mundial Champ in 3 years" BJ Penn genius types.
Him vs GSP is a great matchup
