Congratulations Country Boy - well deserved! Never ducked anyone, beat every UFC Champion besides Pat (the one he wouldn't fight) there has been. Most UFC wins, most UFC title defences, etc etc. A fitting honour for a wonderful champion.

I really hope that Dana and the boys get around to setting up a proper hall of fame museum for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts soon. It wouldn't have to be a massive place, and it would be a nice (and profitable) little tourist attraction for Vegas. I also think it would look good on Zuffa if they gave out hall of fame awards to non-UFC fighters as well, when it is deserved. Being that it would be the "Mixed Martial Arts" hall of fame and not just the "UFC" hall of fame.It would be good for the sport, and promote a positive leadership position over the sport of mixed martial arts for Zuffa. It should be done immediately and all fighters from UFC 1 onward should be included some how. Maybe even have an area that showcases all the other smaller orgs that come and go weekly here. Again, it is part of the history of the sport and Zuffa should look like the leader of that sport.
A beautiful and professional shrine to the sport of MMA where you could charge $25 bucks a head to tourists all day long just to get in and look. And then sell them over priced t-shirts and mugs and little fucking MMA glove keychains as well...Do it before somebody else does it imo.
Edit: Actually...Maybe this is something that Dana should do on his own, with his own money, from the ground up. That might work out well for him in the long run.
Love him or hate him, you can't deny the career he's had. Matt has beaten up a lot of great fighters he was dominate in his prime.
