Gaetz hasn’t been cleared of anything yet!

They are implying he’s the fall guy for the DOJ but that’s just stupid rhetoric.

In a tweet posted before the plea hearing Monday, Matt Gaetz faulted the Justice Department for not charging others who allegedly worked with Alford on the scheme. “Alford wasn’t acting alone. DOJ is having him take the fall to protect their own,” the congressman said.

The guy must have found about about the investigation somewhere though

Not a Gaetz fan, but can’t help to point out your faggotry here (even putting your “I’m excited point” aside).

Of course he “hasn’t been cleared” here… he wasn’t the one under investigation for extortion… are you a jackass or do you just play one on OG?

And, according to Gaetz (which, of course, can be taken with a huge grain of salt), contrary to the tweet you posted, but contained in the actual article, this was related to his ‘deep state’ conspiracy theory (not that I endorse it):

“In a tweet posted before the plea hearing Monday, Matt Gaetz faulted the Justice Department for not charging others who allegedly worked with Alford on the scheme. “Alford wasn’t acting alone. DOJ is having him take the fall to protect their own,” the congressman said.”

It’s been a while. Still a slime bag.

HAHAAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Lol

This thread didnt age well…

I thought the right hated child molesters. Oh, I get it; Matt’s one of their own.

I don’t speak for the right, but I think people are jaded toward the allegation train and it is a direct result of the “believe all women” movement backfiring on the progenitors of that witch hunt. It’s too easy to ruin people using salacious accusations in modern America.

At the end of the day, people deserve to be treated as innocent. Everyone can have their suspicions, and things like this become partisan because of it.

It sounds good; if only it worked that way in America, constant mud slinging from both sides.

It’s not mud slinging from both sides. It’s one side demanding that society conform to a new norm of demanding guilt upon those accused of any impropriety on a woman and then using that as a cudgel to beat their political opponents.

The right is not in control of social norms. This is a result of the left’s overstepping.
