<p>Mark Hunt: I do think he's [Junior Dos Santos] going to try to take the fight to the mat once he realizes that I have a huge arsenal. </p>
It's the pinnacle for any fighter, to be world champion or to fight for it. The opportunity is what I've always wanted. And the opportunity is what I need. If I beat Junior Dos Santos, then yes, I will fight for the world title.
He was a world champion, but we're at the top level. I've been fighting at the top level my whole career.
At the top level I've taken on all the best fighters. I can defeat Junior Dos Santos.

I remember when ZUFFA bought pride and Dana offered to pay Hunt money to finish his contract and Hunt said HELL NO I want to earn my money.
What a slap in the face would be if Hunt ever get to be a HW Champion...
what are you talking about, if Hunt wins the HW title it would be Rocky coming to life, UFC can work with almost anything promoting wise, but it would extremely easy to promote the peoples champ in Mark hunt.
no one blamed the UFC for not wanting Hunt, Dana admitted it and loves the fact Hunt prove him wrong, but really the UFC was right in there choice to try and buy him out, Hunt was not a top 20 HW, and even lost rather easily to McCorkle in his first UFC fight.
Credit has to go to Mark hunt for turning it around.
