About 4 months ago I took a job as a grunt on a vineyard. Through various circumstances I have now been promoted to assistant winemaker. I'm heading to work now but can answer any questions when I get home around 6 est.


Red wine has the reputation of being able to age much longer than white, why is that?

But I've read that some collectors of Ch√Ęteau d'Yquem hold verticals of fairly old bottles.

That seems contradictory to the conventional wisdom above
