You don't need to get discouraged.
Just keep working out, and you will improve.
You are in a competition with yourself, not anyone else.

Keep up the good work. Phone Post 3.0

You will climb the ranks jujubre! Phone Post 3.0

Exactly 100% this Phone Post 3.0

If you are just starting out that is fine. You will improve all over and the numbers will rise.

Hard as it is, don't compare your numbers to what others are doing, unless you wind up in competitive power lifting. Work on getting your form right and that you are taxed at the end of the set. Strength will come along quicker than you think Phone Post 3.0

Being able to squat super heavy really comes in handy when you have discussions about squatting heavy! Phone Post 3.0

Thanks for the encouragement...i never liked weight training but at 36, I am beguinning to enjoy it.

Maybe I should do a competition with Passive Jay to see who is the stronger? Phone Post 3.0

Thanks shiloh! Phone Post 3.0

i can do 400+ on leg press

super easy, i wish my upper body was as strong, i can barely curl anything. :-(

Are you able to do squats? Even if it's just a 5 or 10 pound plate on the bar, or just the bar, I feel it would be a better exercise than leg presses. Phone Post 3.0

Why?

I do most of my exercice on the news assisted weight training material.

I dont use the old school material because i dont know how to do the correct move Phone Post 3.0

It's plenty for someone who doesn't work out, keep it up op you will keep getting better. Phone Post 3.0

Well that's why I suggested minimal weight, I think you'll build strength faster based on myself. With leg press I never built strength, it was more of a toning/endurance building exercise for me.

If you're injured obviously stick with what you're doing until you're healthy. Phone Post 3.0
