If you are just starting out that is fine. You will improve all over and the numbers will rise.
Hard as it is, don't compare your numbers to what others are doing, unless you wind up in competitive power lifting. Work on getting your form right and that you are taxed at the end of the set. Strength will come along quicker than you think
Being able to squat super heavy really comes in handy when you have discussions about squatting heavy!
Thanks for the encouragement...i never liked weight training but at 36, I am beguinning to enjoy it.

i can do 400+ on leg press
super easy, i wish my upper body was as strong, i can barely curl anything. :-(

I dont use the old school material because i dont know how to do the correct move

With leg press I never built strength, it was more of a toning/endurance building exercise for me.Herbish1 - Are you able to do squats?
