It could be argued either way but the bottom line is it's the ref's call. Herb Dean would have let it go. Steve Mazzagatti would have stopped it as Karo hit the mat. Yves Levigne would have stopped it then changed his mind then had them keep going then stop it as he fell down and did a backroll.
