Mir intentionally tries to breaks limbs when he goes for a submission. He's said in the past that even after the refs stop him he likes to hold on to the submission a second or two longer just so his opponent knows it's over.

I think Mir is much more likely to stand with Overeem than Werdum. I also think Mir would beat Overeem. I'd like to see that fight.

No, I'm trying to, by anychance if any of that could reach to your stonewall head, that Overeem is capable of surviving the ground in case the fight goes down there. Yes he would trying his best to stay on the feet for the whole fight, that's his strong point and it's called strategy, if MMA is all about grappling, Mir beats him period.
