There is a lot of great roots reggae from the late 1960s to late 1970s, a few of the early English groups are good too, the rest is dog shit.
Same with Ska. I own several ska albums from the early 1960s, and as dance music style it is pretty enjoyable. There were some good English ska bands too in the 1980s.
The rest is crap.
I also find reggae old guitar styling interesting. Especially lead work.

Sometimes I like to put on my red gold and green tam, cargo shorts, Baja hoodie and crocs and just chill to some irie tunes.

I dont like reggae, but it's not a musical genre written for middle aged white Canadians who don't smoke weed, so I don't think anyone in the reggae world cares.
