Everytime I go to a Martial Arts tournament where there is BJJ, Kickboxing, Modified MMA, Point Sparring, and Forms divisions, all you get is a cheap medal or a cheap plaque for winning and the Form competitors get all the Huge trophies. Just doesnt sound right. I mean, the competitors fee are all the same, so why do FORMS get more.
Do make them feel better?
if you are fighting to get a big trophy, you should re-consider why you are fighting....
or, another thought, do you get a 6 foot plastic trophy at the olympics OR a medal?
In most McDojos, they award dancing more than fighting.
Go figure.
