I watched terrorists fly planes into buildings in live TV and don't remember the country being grinded down to a halt because of it.

I was only 14 at the time but it did not affect my daily routine at all. Maybe one day off from school that I can recall.

Now our country is slowly being shut down due to an invisible enemy and states are taking unorecedent lengths to restrict citizens rights.

I just read VA is shutting down until June 10. I get they can lift it ahead of that date but it just seems like a slow drip to get everyone used to relying on government.

Especially this whole $600 on top of unemployment that I'm reading about.

This is truly concerning...

Either

1.) This virus may truly be the "game changer" which will wipe us out in masses if not handled right

Or

2.) A new world order may truly be coming to play....where we will be ruled upon fear.

I don't completely get shutting down the world this long.

1.) This virus may truly be the "game changer" which will wipe us out in masses if not handled right

Or

2.) A new world order may truly be coming to play....where we will be ruled upon fear.

I don't completely get shutting down the world this long. 

Well both of those scenarios are daunting because in one, the virus is much worse than were told, which I don't think is the case cause I live in a town that has the highest confirmed cases on Long Island and I don't know anyone who has it. But that could just naivety on my part.

The second scenario just seems scarier because it looks like thats what is happening and how easily people are going along with it

This whole fucking thing IS a fraud. We have done 1,000x more damage than the this stupid cold virus could ever do. I read the Fed is forecasting like 20% to 30% unemployment?!?! INSANE. Get this fucking country back to work NOW!!!

It's the internet, yo. Even on 9 11 there wasnt  broadband high speed, twitter, facebook, instagram, hell even text messaging was a rarity if i recall let alone 4g and ubiquitous WiFi.

Now we bombared from the time we wake up until we fall asleep with doomsday fear mongering. I'm not saying this isnt serious. Not at all. But the fever pitch that has been whipped up would not have been the same 20 years ago.
