I thought GSP would beat Hughes and I was rooting for GSP to win. But I never thought he would completely dominate Hughes the way he did. I am both shocked and greatly impressed.
I wasn't shocked either. GSP is the future.
Unless Hughes can get the takedown, he will lose against any good striker. And GSP and BJ are a step or two above "good".

Yet BJ spent most of the early rounds defending the leg attack which Hughes was never able to get in range with GSP to shoot.
He beat BJ and bad.
