Agreed Silva got caught, it happens. The rematch will be HUGE!
No doubt Silva is great, but his clowning and cockiness really turned me off to him. I was glad Weidman cleaned his clock while he was showing off. I would rather see Silva go out and destroy people in 15 seconds than watch him dance.

While I agree that there's been some stupid posts after this fight (every UFC brings out the trolls), I can honestly say that I don't recall seeing anybody say he was overrated, and the only reason people are saying he's done is due to his attitude leading up to the fight, during the fight, and after the fight as if he didn't want to be there and was sick of the fighting game. The other argument was simply people comparing him to another GOAT that had an amazing streak and then lost a few after finally losing......Fedor.
No disrespect James, I get what you are saying and I could be wrong and simply not have seen those posts....just saying what I've encountered. 
His charter is still the greatest that ever cruised imo.

There was actually discussion by many about this. The first Jones/Tarver fight was brought up a number of times. Unfortunately, if your game revolves around cat-like reflexes and hair trigger responses, it is a "youth" based game and one that will eventually deteriorate.
However, once it goes, it's gone. Until that time it is a real treat to watch. Some of Boxing's best highlights were the things RJJ did in the first part of his career. Some of MMA's best highlights are Anderson Silva doing matrix and ninja stuff. I fear that outside occasional flashes of brilliance, we'll see it no more.
Even sadder, is that RJJs and Anderson Silvas typically come along only once in a generation. I'm absolutely ecstatic that I saw these two fighters in their prime.
Anyone who says Silva is overrated is just a nuthugger of a fighter he beat or a Stormfronter.

I heard people saying that about Weidman before this fight, but not about AS. If somebody did really say that, the only explaination is they were trolling after he lost knowing they would get max mileage out of all of the AS fans.
