OP here. I only come on here every few years now…always nice to see it gets the occasional bump! I see a few have asked about where I am now.
Last week I found out I passed the final exam required to call myself a “Psychiatrist” here in the UK. So that’s where I’m at now. Next year I’ll submit my portfolio, which is the very last hurdle to becoming a Consultant. Alongside this, I should finally qualify as a therapist. The dual training really has paid off for me in a bunch of ways.
Got married last year, bought a home this year…I’m one very lucky man indeed.
This thread has done a wicked job of following my career. See you in a few years!
