I know Texas cops aren't that bright but....

...they wouldn't be dumb enough to think they could get away with editing a patrol cam video surely?

A police video of Sandra Bland’s arrest during a dispute with a Texas state trooper contains a number of continuity problems and anomalies, raising questions about whether it represents a continuous record of the controversial encounter.

The dashboard video, released Tuesday afternoon by the Texas Department of Public Safety, shows what appears to be a contentious confrontation between Texas State Trooper Brian T. Encinia and Bland, a 28-year-old African American who died three days later in jail. The trooper says he pulled her over for failing to signal before a lane change. Authorities say she committed suicide, but her death is being investigated as a possible homicide.

In the video, which is more than 52 minutes long, there are several spots where cars and people disappear and reappear. When it released the video, the department did not mention any editing. The audio ends more than a minute before the video images do.

One of the more conspicuous spots comes 25 minutes and 5 seconds into the video, when a man walks from a truck off screen and then reappears suddenly at the spot where he began walking. The image flutters for a moment before resuming.

Baek Doo San - What do u mean wouldn't be dumb enough?

If they didn't tamper with the video it would be them who would be getting sent to jail, and probably found suspiciously hung in their cell.

Sounds pretty smart to me.

But doing it in such a crude way that they it was bleedingly obvious....

Will they be charged with tampering?

Will they be charged with tampering?

I think they are claiming "technical glitch" at this point in time.
