The Diaz brothers have a rep for being health nuts and constantly biking and shit but still, a 5 round fight is something that needs serious preparation. I really hope it doesnt play a huge factor and Nate gasSES early. I want a war that doesnt end because one guy gets tired.

Nate's way of fighting isn't really conducive to gassing out although it still might be a factor. He is just fast and slippery as hell and doesn't really exert a ton of energy in his striking or ground game. He's not going to be trying to control Conor physically like a wrestler would. Maybe Nate could gas out from popping Conor in his giant head over and over for 5 rounds. Nate doesn't hit particularly hard but his defense, volume, combos, and accuracy are pretty damn good.

If Conor catches him and KO's or TKOs him that's something that could happen regardless of conditioning. He has the power advantage, but I could also see him getting tapped. This is a really great matchup and it would have been nice to see a fully prepared Nate. Even if Nate loses there will always be that asterisk. At least there's no size disadvantage and I think he will at least give Conor a war.
