I have a feeling, that JDS will get the TKO or KO within a few minutes and prove difficult to keep down. I have a hunch, call it fighting fan's intuition, that JDS has a distinct advantage in the standup and possibly faster handspeed than Lesnar, despite Lesnar's reach.

I think it is all going to depend on whether or not Lesnar has been able to train out his poor defense and flinch reaction to being hit hard. If he has, I think he will take JDS down and pound him out. If not, I think we will see the same thing as Lesnar/Carwin only without the weird Carwin gasout/lactic acidosis problem.

Well, at first I thought Lesnar would have the advantage standing because of his reach so wasn't sure how JDS could possibly win.
Upon rewatching every JDS and Brock Lesnar fight, I slowly went from the opinion of Lesnar having good standup, which seemed to start sucking around the Couture fight, and hasn't looked good since he fought standout striker Heath Herring.
Not sure why the jab that dropped Mir, Herring, and Couture doesn't seem to be working any more, but maybe the guys now are more tuf.
Either way, after watching both fighters' UFC fights, I slowly came around to the likelihood that Junior Dos Santos might be faster on the feet, a better puncher, and have slightly more technical boxing. Kicking is probably equal, since neither guy seem too skilled there.
I think Brock could drop JDS standing, could take JDS down and pound him to a pulp....but I think the likely outcome might just be Brock losing by a stunning upset KO with Junior Dos Santos as the victor.
Lesnar is the dog in this one so it wouldnt be an upset

With that fight not taking place to June, IMO, I think that's just not likely. I could see this possibly happening 2 weeks out from the fight, as this thread will not be as remembered, but even then, I just don't think that thread will happen. I doubt it will. Anywhom....
Lesnar has a good chance to beat JDS. JDS has never faced a wrestler as big as Lesner, If he took carwin down and Cain down im shure he can take JDS down and GnP him to a victory IMO.....

He took Carwin down when Carwin was so gassed that he could barely stand (in his own words!) - so that's irrelevant. He took Cain down for about 3 seconds - what good is that? In fact, it looked just like when Gonzaga took Dos Santos down and he immediately popped right back up.... Brock is going down.
It's a toss up to me. I can see jds tko'ing him but I can also see Brock taking him down and tko'ing jds
I don't see it as an upset at all. I'd say if Lesnar won it'll be an upset.
^^ agree. Brock with more experience would be more interesting. I hope he just sits all day getting tagged in the face because I do not want that fear messing with his game plan or making it go out the window when/if he gets tagged.
