After watching all the embedded I think Ortega may be in trouble. His girlfriend being with him every moment abs being the center of his attention makes me think his mind isn’t where it needs to be and may pay for it

Guys will act like it’s because they like being with their chick all the time, but it low key comes from insecurity and being able to keep an eye on her at all times even if that means dealing with her annoying clingy ass all the time.
It’s similar in sentiment to macho man and Liz back on the day. If she’s your manager she has to travel with you. It’s her job. Meanwhile you have an excuse to always know what she’s up to and have her around.

During the embedded he basically admitted he barely spends time with his kids but went over and took them to in and out burger for the UFC cameras. I’m sure that was their idea.
Ortega’s fight with Cub was an eye opener for me personally. I’ve never seen someone of Swanson’s caliber literally shook at the end of a round like that. He was done before he ever got back in for that next round. I don’t really dig Ortega’s vibe, I’m an old man and he seems like a young guy who’s trying way too hard to act like he has it all together, but his submission skills are really next level special from what we’ve seen. It’s a worthy headliner any way it plays out IMO.
His length and ground game are most definitely areas where he could win the fight. Volk is super strong, though. So we’ll see if he goes that route.
The weighins and press conference tell us all we need to know. We don’t even need to have the fight at this point it’s pointless.
I know for a fact that the winner will win this fight and the loser will lose either badly or not badly.

Ortega is super skilled, very athletic, etc. He fights great.
Volkanovski is highly under rated because he won a controversial fight against a fan favorite Max. I didn’t like that decision, either, but that doesn’t mean Volkanovski is not great.
He is extremely athletic, technical, well rounded. He and Max are super close, and I see this fight going a lot like the Max v Ortega fight but the Champ will not show him how to block mid fight.
