I gotta say to thetrollsmasher that I love the fighting spirit and agree with your assessment of Wand.
I have always been a fan of Vanderlei's fighting spirit and tenacity but wasn't REALLY a fan of his until after he lost to Hendo at Pride 33 and accepted defeat without making excuses unlike Bitch Franklin who I WAS actually a fan of before this.
With that said, I was pulling for Wand last night and HATED to see him lose although the fight was great and VERY close. I would not have been suprised with the decision going either way. With that performance I don't think Wand lost any fans or ground in the UFC. People will always want to see him fight!
