Here are ideas I have had so far:
Ocean city md for a long weekend and everything that goes with it. Food amusements ect.
4 days with something diff every day
Baltimore aquarium
Zoo
Hershey park
Baseball game
Kinda something along those lines but open for whatever... Let me know guys any help is appreciated!

My only advice is don't go for a long weekend trip that is more then 4 hours away. The travel time either cuts into your actual vacation time or you will be too tired from having driven all night.

Basically any deals or coupons or secret passwords that my OG brothers know would be awesome...My kids are same age we are going to ocean city md this summer probably for the same amount of time Only thing I don't think Hershey park is that close to OC Maryland board walk, beach and pool should be more than enough to entertain them and won't be as expensive as all the stuff you have listed

Master the picnic.
Hit the parks and trails in your radius. Maybe camp somewhere or stay in a little motel nearby.
Hershey park cool, but I don't think there were many good hotels nearby. There are a few, but I think it costs more than what might expect.
Hershey hotel is awesome, but very expensive, not for kids.
NJstileNJ -I was saying either Ocmd or the other activities, not both holy crap that would be insane on the pocketbook... Road trip to Wally World
Have they been to Hershey park? The kids will probably enjoy that more and you can make a weekend of it. I think Giant sells discount tickets. Parking is 20 bucks a day. There's a camp ground down the street so you can make it a camping trip with s'mores and stuff around the fire at night with fresh Hershey's chocolate.
Khun Kao - Colonial Williamsburg
I didn't fully answer this one, so anyway, you've got Colonial Wiliamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown all in the same area. Plus Busch Gardens. Each one can be its own day trip. Nice scenic parkways connect the 3 different historic towns.
