Who knows, it's not like he was landing anything substantial. Yeah, he was doing his thing trying to clown Weidman but he wasn't landing anything with it.
Weidman would have probably won anyway, Anderson wasn't clowning him and outstriking him like past opponents, he was clowning and running and not able to tee off still.. if he had engaged he'd have been on his back eating GnP and scrambling away from submissions like in round 1.
Weidman wasn't dumbfounded, he just wasn't taking the bait and took his time knowing he was winning the round anyway.

SIlva did try and bait him into putting on a stand up fight which would favor SIlva and Chris tried to take him down in the second and failed. Silva tried to go all matrix and clown him and he got caught in the middle of a matrix move.
lol i knew this was going to happen. Its nice that Andersons nut-hugger fans can make excuses for him. The fact of the matter is, he started acting like a dumb ass in the first round. Anderson lost his shit and got careless, it was almost like he knew he was going to lose. Either way, I hope they have a re-match and he takes it a little more serious. Regardless tho, Weidmans Champ and has the Honor to be the first to take down the Spider in the UFC. I hope Anderson bounces back quick and I would really like to see them both at their best for their next meeting
God, he was no different than any other fight and people were calling him the greatest ever and The Matrix because of it. He lost a fight, get over it.

Silva was starting to stuff weidman with ease, and was ahead of Weidman rhythmically in terms of striking. Though Weidman did get some shots in, Silva reacted by clowning instead of getting more serious.
The fight left me with the impression that a more careful, serious silva, would have had that fight if he'd wanted.

No. I think Weidman hurt Anderson on the first. What I think Anderson was doing was using taunting to throw Weidman off his game, but it backfired completely. Weidman stuck to his fundamentals.

He didn't try all that hard to get him down in the 2nd because Silva was acting like a clown which was Silvas goal. He just picked the wrong poison
