I thought he was obviously a contender when he debuted against Brimage and I love his trash talk. But damn his army of ballsuckers is frightening. The "protecting him from wrestlers" shit is a tired ass refrain, and if he wins the belt he will immediately have to face either Edgar or Mendes so the basis that he will be "protected" is false.

From a business perspective not having him face a wrestler is a good move. If he beats Aldo, no one is going to out strike him in the division and the fact is, we don't know how he would do vs a wrestler. Considering the money he is making the UFC and the fact that he will lose a lot of his draw if he loses, it makes business sense for the UFC to shield him from wrestlers.
If you are THAT confident that he will just destroy a high level wrestler knowing he has never faced one, you are simply a delusional fan boy and u should be banned from the boards due to the fact that you have 0 ability to remain objective.

John Kavanagh is very prolific in BJJ, he can make Conor a monster on the ground, and they have been working together for many years now, there is more evidence that Conor has a great ground game than him being killed by the first wrestler he faces.
