the UFC wouldn't be where it is. Like it or not, the UFC's success has a lot to do with their tough (TUF?) negotiating. When every other two-bit promotion went down because they took whatever scraps were offered to them, the UFC is STRONG. Dana didn't sell out to make himself look good early on; he certainly isn't going to do it now for Fitch.
