Imagine if all the UFC heavyweights refused to fight Brock due to the unfair advantage. We wouldn't have to watch him bully people much smaller than him anymore. Sure he'd still be champion, but he wouldn't be fighting anymore.
Better yet, bring in some more WWE wrestlers to form a super heavyweight class. I'd actually enjoy watching the pro wrestlers go at it for real.
thread
rocks!
What unfair advantage?
Every other champ in the UFC shows up at the maximum weight limit for their division, why should HW be any different?
Because Brock could outweight other fighers by 60 lbs or more. Not true for the other weight classes.
so
thats just one more thing you gotta deal with if you want that belt.
you think people complain about fighting Anderson? 'he's got an unfair standup advantage, i won't fight him'
Anderson worked hard for his striking advantage. Brock probably lifted a lot of weights with some roids, but most of it is genetics. It's called an unfair size advantage.
It would be easier for all the heavyweights to drop down to light heavyweight than to bulk up to Brock's size.
She is a little odd looking(maybe ugly) but I really like her
Its got to be the tits
since when do you have to be someone's size to beat him. Minotauro submitted a much larger Bob Sapp. you just have to have enough skill to overcome the size differential, and right now that is very possible.
people are acting like Brock took Randy to school and manhandled him. yeah he was stronger and pushed him around sometimes, but Randy still bulled him into the cage and was working for takedowns
it was a very even fight where both guys pressed the pace and tried to take control of the fight, and Randy got caught by someone with big power. it happens.
we'll see how he deals with Minotauro
Imagine what the fight would look like if they were both light heavyweights? I thought the UFC was supposed to be about skill, not how big you can get.
To anyone bitching about an unfair size advantage: In a perfect world, shouldn't most of those fighting at lightweight be fighting at welterweight. those fighting at welterweight be fighting at light-heavy weight. those fighting at light-heavy to be fighting at heavy weight.
the weight cutting in and of itself is already an unfair advantage so this is just a nonargument.
LOL some people. Real fighters would never turn down the match. If you choose to be a Heavyweight then you will be fighting Heavyweights. The weight class is 205-265. If Brock makes weight he is a HW. Fighters have been cutting weight in all the other divisions for years. Why is it suddenly an issue because Brock does it? Heck Sylvia was cutting to make 265 as well. I didn't see any complaints about that?
You wanna be a HW, then you fight HW's. Either get big or get better. Better still do both. You don't want to fight big HW's like Brock, then you better get good a cutting weight and go to a lower division.

thank you!!!
the King of rock and rumble has fought the correct @ hw and won
wow, what a stupid thread.
You do realize that there are many heavies well over 240 and even a few others like Shane Carwin who actually cut to 265?
Also, it was Randy's choice to come back at heavy. Most 220lbers in the UFC cut to 205 to fight.
Also, Fedor is around 225 and I doubt that anyone would pick Brock over Fedor.
Excellent troll, some good material around here lately.
do you actually think Mir or Nog are scared of fighting him for the belt?

go do a search for "brawl for all" on youtube
turn down a title fight? Isnt that the whole point?
