Yeah she did get an insane amount of promotion but she also has a very polarizing personality and was constantly throwing out quotes and shit that chicks loved and posted on all facebook who weren't even into fighting and that put her into this whole other market. The whole "do nothing bitch" thing is what truly exploded her from what i saw, all of a sudden there was this whole feminist thing around her and she became this massive inspiration to woman. holm doesn't have that type of crazy attitude and personality. Idk if she would be the star Ronda is without that type of attitude even with heavy promotion. But then again, if she continues to put people into comas people love that shit too.

it depends on how her future fights go. RR never had a boring fight in the UFC. Even then it took awhile for her to catch on. I love Holly, but this is her first fight in the UFC that wasn't a snoozefest. Point fighting to decision victories isn't going to pull in the non-hardcore fans.
