Khabib is a nightmare matchup for Anthony Pettis
I cant remember who but I seem to think Khabib is going to be fighting someone soon that he might not be able to ragdoll. Cant for the life of me remember who he's fighting though. I feel like the Khabib train is going to be rerailed before he gets his shot though.

Khabib vs Healy is a tough one for him to win and I think he will probably need 1 more win before he gets a shot against someone like Josh Thomson, Jamie Varner or Cobow/Anjos winner. We'll see though, Khabib asked for Nate....Where you at homie? Stockton is like fucking Beverly Hills compared to where Khabib grew up, what!

Thats it. Thanks. Gonna be a tough fight for both guys. I dont see Khabib running through him like his previous opponents at all. If he does then i'll be more likely to think he'll get a titleshot but theres still a few guys ahead of him if he beats Healy.

lol, Healy fights at LW which is 155. There isn't even a 165 lb class, broseph.
Ufc 165...

TJ Grant still might be the best of all.
I hope grant still gets his shot when he's ready to come back.

Doh! I actually thought it was a short notice catchweight fight.
Khalib/ Healy winner vs tj grant for shitle tot
Ehh I could still see Pettis beating Khabib. The next fight against Bendo will tell us a lot on how that fight might turn out
LOL, his best legit win so far is Tavares. Just about everyone in the media had him losing against Tibau, and Tibau isn't that great. All Khabib did was come in flailing his arms and then fail at every TD attempt.
Khabib is not a nightmare match-up for Pettis. In fact it's not a bad match-up at all. Khabib's striking is wild, and his takedowns are body to body. He doesn't shoot with speed from distance countering his opponents striking attempts, which is where Pettis has shown TDD weakness. Pettis would keep the fight at distance and pick Khabib apart.
If Pettis would beat Bendo again, what on Earth would make you think he's ripe for the picking for Khabib? Bendo is a better wrestler overall, and from distance, and Pettis would have beaten him twice. Still putting all stock in the Guida fight relative to all Pettis' others? Guida and Khabib are not similar, and I doubt Pettis would lose to Guida again either with the knowledge he's gained. You never get a 2nd chance to make a first impression, I guess. People will still be putting heavy stock in that Guida fight when Pettis has a few title defenses under his belt.

So if you can't define Pettis by the Guida fight that he lost, don't define Khabib by his 2nd fight in the UFC which he won! Khabib came in with a bad game plan. He should of kept it standing where he was still out pointing tibau. Plus the only person who said he won was tibau so don't base your whole opinion on that.

Huh? I based it on my own eyes and referenced the media. These were the media scores: http://mmadecisions.com/decision.jsp?id=3577
MMAWeekly: 30-27 Tibau
Breen: 30-28 Tibau
Al-Shatti: 30-27 Tibau
Nelson: 30-27 Tibau
Critchfield: 30-27 Tibau
Junkie: 29-28 Khabib
Fight Metric had Tibau equaling or marginally out-striking him in every round, plus hitting 1 of 6 TD's vs. 0 of 13 for Khabib. http://hosteddb.fightmetric.com/fights/index/3950
That's far from only Tibau thinking he won. That's a pretty skewed Russian perspective, guy named DMITRI. He deserved to lose, man.
And I will well judge him on that one fight when it was against the best fighter he's faced, who wasn't a contender, and he should have lost to him.
Whereas Pettis has beaten the best fighter he's faced, a couple other very good ones, and several wrestlers against one loss.
Right now, Guida is the exception for Pettis, but Tibau is the rule for Khabib.

Tibau has the best takedown defense? You must be retarded...The guy was taken down by Jim Miller and Guillard...Anjos took him down too. I can't remember too many of his other fights, he has great defense but better than GSP? Jones? Barao? You're higher than giraffe pussy.

LOL@this bullshit
"check your stats"
the same stats that said Mark Hunt has the 2nd best TDD in the HW division? dumbass. UFC stats mean shit.

Fight Metric only has him being taken down once by Guillard, and neither the other two. RDA was 0-8, Miller 0-6.
Statistically, he does have the best TDD in UFC history, 93%. Aldo is 2nd best at just under 90. Mind you though, a significant part of that percentage was gained on Nurmagomedov's 16 failed TD's. I doubt he'd be #1 if not for that, but still up there.
That said, styles make fights only goes so far, and level of opponent matters. Pettis is vastly superior to Tibau as a mixed martial artist. And his TDD is OK at 65%, with it probably being over 80 in the clinch which is where Khabib attempts TD's. Pettis defends TD's in close from the best in the biz, Ben Askren, in practice on a daily basis. I hardly think Khabib is a bad style match-up, in addition to being a much less proven and talented mixed martial artist.

1. Gleison Tibau 93.3%
2. Jose Aldo 89.7%
3. Andrei Arlovski 89.5%
4. Matthew Riddle 89.3%
5. Georges St-Pierre 88.0%
This is off of fightmetric.com
That list means fuck all and you know it. Jon Jones has 100% anyways you goof.
How about taking variables into consideration, like maybe a shitty fighter tried to take Tibau down 40 times in 1 fight? Maybe he hasn't fought that great of competition or takedow artists? If you think Riddle has the 4th best in UFC history you can just shut the fuck up.

go to fight metric.com and look for yourself. Tiabu has #1 takedown defense in the ufc. sorry bud facts over opinions
Then if you're being consistent, you have to abide by the fact that Khabib lost to Tibau per Fight Metric and many others.
Also, like I said Khabib's epic failure at taking him down is factored into Tibau's TDD stat. It's up there with the best, but not the best when you throw Nurmagomedov's performance out.
