Lets see him move up and fight Jones (if he is the 205 champ at the time)
If Conor can move up and face the champ I dont see why others dont... Its a big payday even for a guy who isnt as big a name as Conor and I dont think thing Champ vs Champ thing has been utilised enough. This would be a good sell as it would be like AKA's revenge on Jones for beating their captain's twice.
Add to that I like the matchup... Jones would be favourite but Luke is a sneaky good grappler and if that fight went to the mat and Rockhhold ended up on top I could genuinely see him causing Jones BIG problems... Luke's top game is nasty.

Jones would hurt Rockhold. Rockhold will make good money as champ @ 185. No need for him to ruin that by going to 205.

Romero's out for roiding, Machida is looking rough and already got wrecked, Mousasi is looking very iffy, Uriah Hall is not ready.
Jacare is really the only exciting matchup at 185 for Rockhold right now.

Doubtful. There is a reason uber dominant champs in the past didn't move up to face an equally dominant champ in higher weight class.

Anderson went to 205 and wrecked Forest who was one fight out from having been the champ, and who was a much larger fighter. Say they had scheduled Anderson instead of Rashad one fight sooner, and Andy would have been a 2 division champ.
